We’re back from our annual summer camp that was held June 8th through the 12th. This year’s camp was centered around the theme, ‘The Good Fight,’ which empowered students to fight for their God given purpose. We had our greatest turn out this year with 255 campers.

With the theme ‘The Good Fight,’ students were impacted through four dynamic evening services. Over 40 students made first time decisions to receive Christ, and over 200 students made the choice to renounce drugs, gangs, and immorality, and to stand up for the truth of Jesus Christ. Throughout the week students were engaged in team activities that centered around leadership. During this process, dozens of students committed to be involved in their campus leadership teams for the upcoming school year.

This year’s camp was a huge success. We have received testimony after testimony of lives changed, relationships deepened, and leaders discovered. On behalf of the Urban Youth for Christ interns, volunteers, churches, and staff-Thank You!

We are looking forward to another dynamic school year serving our local Oklahoma City Public Schools. In the fall we will have Youth For Christ interns, volunteers, and partner churches building relationships on every urban mid-high and senior-high campus. Currently we are partnered with over 28 urban churches in Oklahoma City, and are ready to impact this city with a roster of approximately 30 urban interns. Please continue to promote what God is doing in our city through your generous giving, prayer, and support.
