We’re back from our annual summer camp that was held June 3rd through the 7th. This year’s camp was centered around the charge to Stand Up. We had the greatest turn out this year with 260 students and over 30 volunteers.
With the challenge to Stand Up, students were impacted through four dynamic evening services. Over 50 students made first time descision to receicve Christ, and over 200 students made the choice to renounce drugs, gangs, and immorality, and stand up for the truth of Jesus Christ. Throughout the week students were engaged in team activities that centered around leadership. Through this process, 200 students committed to be involved in their campus leadership for the upcoming school year.
This year’s camp was a success. We have received testimony after testimony of lives changed, relationships deepened, and leaders discovered. On behalf of the Urban, Youth for Christ interns, volunteers, churches, and staff-Thank You!
