Rocky Bratton - Changing Lives
We’ve been speaking on relationships the past few weeks. i had two students approach me after class and ask me to speak on a certain aspect of relationships next week. this shows me that even though this club is fairly new, there is a want from the students to learn and hear God’s word.

Trevor and Western Heights
Mack, an 8th grader, has been coming to POP pretty much all year so far. I met him at club, but I have gotten to know him better through helping out with basketball. He has a good foundation in Christ already. He has been talking to his friends about Christ… inviting them to church wit him, to POP and to other Christian events. Eight of the basketball players have been coming to POP as result of him inviting them and talking to them about Christ. He has become the “chaplain” for the basketball team, doing the prayer before each game. He is growing into a great advocate for Christ to his peers and shaping up to be a powerful student of influence!

PC West - Kendal Kelly
Michael had been coming to POP at PCW for about a year. He decided to come to our youth ministry one Wednesday, and then decided to come the next week. He opened up and shared that his family was being kicked out of their house that week as well as some other issues. He was not a Christian, but he let us get around him and pray for him. We found out the next week that everything was resolved. The next week he came to our big church service, got saved and continues coming to our Wednesday small group.

Bethany Middle School - Calvin Roberson
Impact Club at Bethany Middle School is steadily growing, averaging a core of 15 Student Leaders and a growing team of Adult Leaders, ministering to 90 students weekly who want to know more about what God is really doing at Bethany. Nolan is an inspirational 7th grader who takes the time and goes out of his way to meet new faces and really get to know students. He invites others to the program and to His Church, Bethany First Church of the Nazarene. I am very glad to have him on our team.

Camp 2008 Report
We’re back from our annual summer camp that was held June 8th through the 12th. This year’s camp was centered around the theme, ‘The Good Fight,’ which empowered students to fight for their God given purpose. We had our greatest turn out this year with 255 campers. (more…)
